💫 Boss Beti Values in Action

We’re not here to just talk about confidence, healing, or rebellion.
We’re here to live it—imperfectly, softly, and with spine.

@deyakannesha

When @Shobana Lakkavally asked me to model for the morning show to help spotlight more South Asian talent and faces, it was an instant yes.    Growing up I would’ve never imagined turning on the TV and seeing someone who looked like me on screen.    Thank you Shobana for helping pave the way! I’ll always be here for brown girls supporting brown girls — for showing up, lifting each other up, and becoming the change we once dreamed of. 🩷

This is what it means to be a Boss Beti in action:
When we say no, when we rest, when we dream beyond “log kya kahenge”—we’re walking proof that this brand is real life, not just real talk.

💔 “We’re Not Just Breaking Glass Ceilings—We’re Healing Through Them”

For years, we were told to hustle. To prove ourselves. To be strong.

But no one warned us that breaking generational curses hurts.
No one told us that success without self-worth still feels hollow.
No one told us that burnout isn’t bravery.

Boss Beti isn’t just about climbing ladders—we’re checking if we even want to be on them.
We’re asking:
What happens after you make your immigrant parents proud, but lose yourself?
What happens when you have the degree, but not the peace?

✨ This generation isn’t just breaking ceilings.
We’re rebuilding the rooms inside our own minds.
With therapy, with dua, with boundaries, with rest.

And that? That’s healing as legacy.

🌸 “Where Softness Meets Strength: The Boss Beti Way”

This isn’t your corporate ambition.
This is a new model. One where softness and strength coexist.

Here’s the Boss Beti manifesto:

  • 💗 We cry. We journal. We fight for ourselves.
  • 📿 We pray and protest.
  • 🛋️ We rest without guilt.
  • 💻 We dream in Canva templates, Figma boards, and heartfelt voicenotes.
  • 💌 We say “no” with love.
  • 🧕🏽 We wear our culture with pride—not performance.
  • 🌸 We unlearn shame like it’s a full-time job.
  • 💡 We choose community over comparison.
  • 🌙 We believe our softness is not a delay—it’s a divine timeline.

This is ambition on our own terms—and it’s sacred.

🤲 “Boss Beti Doesn’t Just Show Up—She Shows Herself Mercy”

Every day isn’t a showreel.
Every healing doesn’t need to be a post.
Every goal doesn’t need to be monetized.

Boss Beti believes in showing up—for yourself—with mercy.
That means:

  • Taking a break and not calling it lazy
  • Crying without rushing to “fix” it
  • Being ambitious without hustling your soul into the ground
  • Holding space for your own softness when the world says, “Be stronger”

Because self-compassion is resistance.
And rest? That’s a rite, not a reward.

You don’t just perform being a Boss Beti.
You care for yourself like one.

🗣 “Boss Beti Is for the Girl Who Was Told ‘Log Kya Kahenge’ Too Many Times”

This is your caption. Your prompt. Your call to rise.

Boss Beti is for the girl who:

  • Was told to be quiet in front of guests
  • Hid her passions because they weren’t “respectable”
  • Dimmed herself so others wouldn’t feel threatened
  • Was scared of wearing lipstick, leading a project, or saying “no”—because log kya kahenge?

But she’s done waiting for permission.

✨ Use #BossBetiRising to share your moment of rebellion.

Because the truth is:
“Log kya kahenge?”
They’ll say something either way. So say yes to yourself first.
